Job Purpose:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs that effectively communicate the organization's message across print, digital, and social media platforms. The role requires creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality graphics that align with branding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce creative materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, banners, and social media content.
  • Develop visual assets for websites, digital campaigns, advertisements, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and content teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Design layouts, illustrations, infographics, and logos as per project requirements.
  • Ensure all designs are consistent with brand identity, guidelines, and organizational objectives.
  • Edit and enhance images, photos, and videos for marketing and promotional use.
  • Prepare final artwork files for print and digital publishing.
  • Work with external vendors, printers, and media agencies when required.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, software, and digital tools to improve creativity and efficiency.
  • Maintain an organized library of design templates, assets, and resources.
  • Provide creative input in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaigns and projects.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for different formats and platforms (web, mobile, print).
  • Adapt and modify existing designs as per feedback from supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar creative role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW, and Canva (knowledge of video editing software like Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus).
  • Strong creative thinking, conceptualization, and artistic ability.
  • Excellent eye for detail, color theory, typography, and layout skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
