Junior Back End Developer (Pakistan) – Join Our Client Team

Remotiv is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Back End Developer to join our client partner team onsite at Giga Mall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs while ensuring security, performance, and seamless integration with frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using and
  • Build and manage microservices and containerized applications using Docker & Docker Compose.
  • Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Ensure scalability, security, and high performance of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with applications built on HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement caching, message queues, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team for deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.

Primary Skills (Core Expertise)

  • Strong experience with and
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind, JavaScript) for API integration.
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) for cloud deployments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices for application deployment and scaling.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable software architectures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–1 years of proven experience in backend development.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
