We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Deputy Manager Tax to oversee the company's tax operations and ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will manage both direct and indirect taxation matters, coordinate with tax authorities, and support the company in effective tax planning and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all tax matters including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax.
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with FBR and PRA/SRB/KPRA regulations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.
  • Prepare tax provisions and support financial reporting processes.
  • Handle tax audits, assessments, and appeals.
  • Support management in tax planning and strategy to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Supervise and guide junior tax staff on routine matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all tax-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: MBA (Finance), M.Com, or ACCA/CA (Part Qualified) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Sales Tax Act 1990, and other applicable laws.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Pay: Rs90, Rs150,000.00 per month
