Main Responsibilities:

Conducting/supervising integrated reservoir studies for quality product and sound recommendations to management for optimum field development/depletion for Operated and non-operated discoveries.

Devise optimum field development plan in collaboration with other stakeholders for maximizing recovery and project profitability.

Contribute and coordinate in Reservoir Engineering inputs to Business Plans, Integrated work plans, IPPs, Stage-Gates process, Economic analysis/NPV modelling and Business Development to ensure effective internal & external stakeholder management.

Represent MOL Pakistan/Reservoir Engineering Department in technical meetings, workshops, OCM/TCM/FCM to defend Reservoir Engineering recommendations and to safeguard company's interests.

Mentor junior reservoir colleagues for their grooming and capacity building.

Contribute towards the common efforts to protect the workplace environment by conducting activities in a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Qualification:

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering

Professional competencies:

Sound understanding of basic and advanced reservoir engineering principles. Good knowledge of well operations and production engineering is required for effective implementation of reservoir engineering recommendations.

Extensive hands-on experience in reservoir simulation (both black oil & compositional models) and good working knowledge of 3-D geological modeling.

Experience in log analysis, core analysis and Petro-physical evaluation. Comprehensive understanding of Fluid sampling, PVT analysis of oil and retrograde condensate systems and EOS modelling.

Strong understanding of classical reservoir engineering techniques including well test analysis, Decline curves analysis, Material Balance evaluations and integrated network modelling.

Experience:

10 years with 5 years' experience in reservoir simulation and integrated studies.
