Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled
QA Automation Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Playwright
and
TypeScript
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using
    Playwright
    with
    TypeScript
    .
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create robust test plans.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure test coverage for critical functionalities and maintain test documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience
    in QA Automation.
  • Strong proficiency in
    TypeScript
    .
  • Practical experience with
    Playwright
    for web application testing.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like
    Jest
    or
    Mocha
    .
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud environments.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
