We are now looking for a
Software QA Automation Engineer
who can elevate the quality of our software products through strong testing practices and automation expertise.

Position Overview

The
Software QA Automation Engineer
will play a critical role in validating software quality through both
automation and manual testing
. You will design test scenarios, build automated suites, execute manual tests, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in an
Agile/Scrum
environment.

You should have experience working within
CI/CD pipelines,
be comfortable with
DevOps practices
, understand
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
principles, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering defect-free, stable releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Perform thorough
  manual testing
  to validate new features, user flows, edge cases, and regression cycles.
• Create, manage, and update
  test plans, test cases,
  and
  test documentation.
• Work collaboratively within
  Agile/Scrum sprints
  , participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure test coverage across
  functional, regression, integration, performance,
  and
  UI
  layers.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into
  CI/CD
  pipelines and coordinate testing with DevOps teams.
• Ensure alignment with
  TDD principles
  , supporting developers in early bug detection and test-first workflows.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using standard QA tools; follow through to resolution.
• Analyze test results, highlight risks, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and team standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience, including at least 1 year in automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, vStellar Test, or similar frameworks.
• Strong manual testing capabilities, including designing structured and effective test cases.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in sprint-based teams.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and build/release processes.
• Basic understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test-first development concepts.
• Practical experience with Jira for task management, sprint tracking, and bug lifecycle management.
• Professional experience using Bitbucket or any Git-based version control system, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows.
• Ability to write, debug, or maintain automation scripts using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and industry-standard QA practices.
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work
  onsite during night shift hours
  (aligned with U.S. operations).
