Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Sales & Application Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to bridge the gap between customer requirements and engineering solutions. The position involves supporting the sales process with technical knowledge, preparing proposals, and ensuring successful execution of projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Support the sales and business development teams in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Develop product specifications, application designs, and technical presentations for clients.
  • Provide technical support throughout pre-sales, project execution, and post-sales phases.
  • Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and site visits as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and client specifications.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and provide insights to management for business strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering (or a related field).
  • 2–4 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or product development (preferably in automotive, heavy vehicles, or industrial equipment).
  • Strong technical knowledge of specialized vehicles, hydraulics, firefighting, or industrial equipment (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAD tools is an added advantage.
