We are seeking a highly skilled
Blockchain Protocol Engineer
to lead the development of our smart contract layer, collaborate with protocol and infrastructure teams, and drive innovations in scalability, gas optimization, and execution safety.

Key Responsibilities

Smart Contract Development:

  • Design and implement modular smart contracts in
    Solidity
    for:
  • Position lifecycle (open/modify/close)
  • Margin accounting and liquidation logic
  • Trading reward systems and staking pools
  • Treasury routing and performance analytics
  • Integrate and monitor external
    oracle networks
    (e.g., Pyth, RedStone, Chainlink).
  • Write unit and integration tests using
    Foundry or Hardhat
    , benchmark gas, and optimize for deployment efficiency.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams to define
    protocol-level interfaces (RPCs, subgraphs)
    .
  • Lead integration of
    wallet-native UX
    , sequencer routing, and modular upgrades.

Blockchain Architecture & Core Infrastructure:

  • Implement and optimize
    consensus mechanisms
    ,
    state machine logic
    , and
    network protocols
    .
  • Work on
    cryptographic primitives
    such as digital signatures, hashing, and key management.
  • Develop and maintain
    APIs (REST/gRPC)
    ,
    nodes
    , and
    client libraries
    for blockchain interactions.
  • Use
    Docker
    for containerization, testing, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and monitoring of blockchain nodes.

Required Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience
    in
    Solidity
    with deployed contracts on
    Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
    .
  • Advanced understanding of
    EVM internals
    ,
    gas modeling
    , and
    storage patterns
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Foundry
    ,
    Hardhat
    , or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with
    rollup architectures
    (Optimism, Arbitrum Nitro, ZK Rollups).
  • Strong understanding of
    blockchain architecture
    ,
    consensus protocols
    , and
    peer-to-peer networks
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Cosmos SDK
    and other
    Layer 1 frameworks
    (Substrate experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in
    Go (Golang)
    for backend or protocol-level development.
  • Knowledge of
    Web3 ecosystem
    and
    smart contracts
    (CosmWasm preferred).

Preferred Experience (Bonus):

  • Prior work on
    performance-focused DeFi protocols
    (perpetuals, structured products, or vaults).
  • Deep understanding of
    slippage-free execution
    ,
    MEV protection

    batch settlement mechanisms

  • Experience building or auditing
    cross-margin engines
    or complex
    asset accounting contracts
    .
  • Familiarity with
    DeFi perps protocols
    (dYdX, GMX, Perpetual Protocol),

    liquidity engines
    .
  • Exposure to
    oracle-fed pricing
