Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Python Developer – API Integrations (Voice AI Platform) at CloseGPT. The Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API integrations for our Voice AI platform. Day-to-day tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing integrations; collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements; and ensuring seamless integration with various systems and platforms. The role also involves maintaining documentation, managing databases, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Strong knowledge of Programming, particularly Python
  • Experience with Databases and working with various data storage solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with API integrations and Voice AI platforms is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Requirements

  • 2+ years
    of professional experience in
    Python backend development
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    FastAPI, Flask, or Django
    (FastAPI preferred).
  • Experience working with
    LLMs
    (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of
    REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    databases
    (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with
    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    and
    cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    .
  • Good knowledge of
    Git, CI/CD pipelines
    , and modern development practices.
  • Ability to
    solve complex problems
    and
    think in terms of scalable architectures
    .

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with
    LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other AI frameworks
    .
  • Exposure to
    vector databases.
  • Knowledge of
    async programming
    and high-performance API design.
  • Background in
    AI product development or conversational AI systems
    .
