Job Title: IT .NET Developer

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: IT Manager / Software Development Lead

Job Summary:

The .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, build scalable solutions, and ensure the performance, security, and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks.
  • Develop APIs, services, and integrations using RESTful and SOAP technologies.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) — analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, database administrators, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain version control using tools like Git or Azure DevOps.
  • Document software functionality, workflows, and processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • 2–5 years of experience in .NET application development (experience range can be adjusted as needed).
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • SQL Server and relational database design
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (or similar tools).
  • Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience in front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

The minimum development tools required as under:

  1. Microsoft SQL (MSSQL/MySQL)

  2. Vb.Net

  3. SAP Crystal Reporting/VB.NET Reporting

  4. HTML, CSS and React etc.

  5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  6. 2+ years of experience in IT or related field

  7. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security

  8. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
