Key Responsibilities: 

• Establish a complete understanding of VIDIZMO products features, use cases, target industries, and markets    
  
• Determine the types of documents needed (user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, etc.).
• Focus on user needs and ensure that documentation is user-centric and accessible.
  
• Regularly produce technology marketing content and maintain product knowledgebase in various forms such as  
  
  
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents that explains product features, functionalities, and usage.
• Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for Vidizmo's products and services. 
• Collaborate with product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization.
  
• Strong understanding of Docs-as-Code methodologies.
• Proficiency in Git, Markdown, and static site generators like MkDocs, Sphinx, or Docusaurus.
• Experience documenting REST APIs, SDKs, and software products.
• Ability to read and interpret code snippets in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development or DevOps tools.
• Experience with automation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• UX writing or microcopy experience is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements 

We welcome candidates from diverse industries and educational backgrounds, as long as you possess a strong technical acumen and an innate eye for detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering 
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a related technical communication role.
• Ability to understand and write about topics such as video, streaming, networks, digital media, artificial intelligence, cognitive services, cloud computing, and business applications.
• Strong technical knowledge of web application methodologies.
• Must have excellent written English communication skills and be technically adept enough to probe and ask the right questions.

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, can translate objectives into impactful solutions, and is proficient in leveraging AI tools—including mandatory use of platforms like ChatGPT—to enhance efficiency. An ownership mindset and the ability to drive outcomes with minimal task-level direction are essential.
