Job Purpose:
To independently manage the end-to-end merchandising process for knitted garments, ensuring timely execution of orders, quality compliance, cost efficiency, and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete order cycle from product development to shipment for knitwear.
- Liaise with buyers for sampling, approvals, costing, pricing, and order confirmation.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Monitor material sourcing, trims, fabrics, and follow-up with suppliers/vendors.
- Prepare and review Time & Action (T&A) plans; ensure all deadlines are met.
- Negotiate with suppliers and buyers for cost effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Track production status and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or compliance.
- Prepare reports on order status, costing, margins, and profitability.
- Guide and mentor junior merchandisers/executives in the team.
- Ensure adherence to customer compliance standards, company policies, and export regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile/Fashion/Apparel Merchandising or relevant field.
- 5–8 years of merchandising experience, preferably in knitted garments.
- Strong knowledge of knitwear fabrics, trims, and garment production processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and buyer management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs150, Rs250,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
