Qualifications:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science is highly desirable.

You will

  • Architect and ship
    agentic AI features
    : tool-calling, retrieval/memory, evaluation loops, guardrails.
  • Own
    LLM infrastructure
    : vLLM/Ollama or hosted APIs; prompt & policy versioning; latency/cost SLAs; vendor failover (OpenAI/Anthropic/open-source).
  • Familiar with:
    Python Ollama Agentic Framework docker and kurbanatees
  • Build
    data pipelines
    : ingestion, normalization (tickers/contracts), corp-actions, time-series storage, caching.
  • Drive
    MLOps/LLMOps
    : CI/CD for prompts and models, offline/online evals (RAGAS/DeepEval-style), telemetry with OpenTelemetry, dashboards/alerts.
  • Enforce
    security & compliance
    : PII minimization, encryption at rest/in transit, licensing/redistribution rules, red-team tests.
  • Lead the team: code reviews, hiring, mentoring, roadmap with Product/Design; set quality bars and documentation habits.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5–8+ years building ML/AI
    in production
    ; 2+ years shipping
    LLM-backed
    products.
  • Strong
    Python
    (typing, tests, perf) and solid
    backend
    (Node/Express or Python services, REST/WebSockets, auth).
  • PyTorch
    expertise; comfort with LoRA/PEFT, quantization; experience serving models (vLLM/FastAPI/Triton or equivalent).
  • Proven
    RAG/agent
    systems: retrieval, chunking/ATC, memory strategies, tool schemas, evaluation harnesses.
  • Cloud
    (Azure) with containers/K8s, IaC, observability; hands-on with
    cost/perf
    tuning for LLM workloads.
  • Data plumbing:
    ETL, time-series (Postgres/Timescale/ClickHouse), caching (Redis), batch + streaming jobs.

Nice to have

  • Fintech exposure (Plaid schema, fundamentals/quotes/macro), compliance workflows, SOC-2.
  • Experience with data-quality frameworks (Great Expectations), feature stores, or experimentation platforms.
  • Frontend fluency (React/Tailwind) for rapid prototyping with Design.
