Phelbotomist and receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to collect blood specimens
• Label vials with patient names and dates
• Organize and send samples to the laboratory for testing
• Keep accurate records of patient information and test results
• Follow strict protocols to maintain a sterile environment
• Assist with administrative tasks related to sample processing

Skills

• Proficient in phlebotomy techniques
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Computer literacy for data entry and recordkeeping
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
