About the Role

Opulux is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team at our Lahore office. This role involves creating precise 2D technical drawings related to architectural glass products including shower doors, panels, and related designs.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong mathematical and drafting skills who are able to interpret client-provided sketches, architectural layouts, and contract drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate 2D CAD drawings based on customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings and client sketches.
  • Work on design tasks related to glass fabrication, including shower enclosures, panels, and other products.
  • Input numerical data and client details into CAD software.
  • Use trigonometry and other mathematical calculations to convert and scale dimensions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure technical specifications are followed.
  • Coordinate with internal systems such as ERP software before finalizing CAD files.
  • Sort paperwork by size and description, prepare production notes, and ensure timely distribution to relevant teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in drafting or a recognized AutoCAD certification.
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles and construction-free design work.
  • Ability to accurately interpret architectural and technical drawings.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, particularly in trigonometry, decimals, and fractions.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Work Schedule (Full-Time):
  • Pakistan Standard Time (PKT): 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • USA Eastern Time: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Location: Near University of Central Punjab (UCP) / Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
  • Salary: Competitive salary package will be offered based on experience and skill level.
