About the job:

As the Product SME for Commercial Lines, you'll act as the onsite subject-matter expert for Commercial Property, General Liability, CPP, Inland Marine, Crime and Umbrella. You'll analyze product models and ISO manuals (rates, rules, forms), manage the product backlog and requirements lifecycle, and partner with QA and BAs to define test/UAT scenarios and drive successful UAT execution. You'll also lead defect triage, secure requirement sign-offs with Product/IT stakeholders, and provide clear progress reporting to leadership — enabling timely, high-quality Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Support onsite Product Owner in the following activities -
• Analysis of Product model.
• Analysis of ISO manuals for product offerings – Rates, Rules and Forms.

• Manage product backlog, requirements documentation, clarification and acceptance.

• Work with QA on testing scenarios to ensure sufficient coverage of scenarios. Review QA testing results.

• Work with business analysts on UAT scenarios, manage and ensure successful UAT execution.
• Collaborate with Product Owner / Business and/or IT teams on requirements definition and signoff, user acceptance testing and defect triage.

Requirements:

• 6-11 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in commercial lines business
• Experience working as a Product Owner will be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO commercial lines product offerings, Rating and Form.
• 6+ years of experience in the implementation of commercial lines products on Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.
• Experience managing Product backlog, User stories acceptance and defect triage.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• Experience with any of the Agile project management tools like Jira, Rally, ADO, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in progress reporting to stakeholders.
