Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing, deploying, and maintaining applications using modern .NET technologies, with a strong focus on backend development and integration with various AWS services. The role requires expertise in system monitoring, database management, and migration tasks, along with a collaborative mindset to contribute to ongoing projects and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Implement and optimize database solutions using MSSQL, with experience in Dapper ORM (or similar).
  • Build and maintain front-end components using Typescript, jQuery, and Bootstrap CSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that integrate with AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, STEP Functions, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Manage and optimize scheduled tasks on Windows Server and IIS environments.
  • Write and maintain Powershell scripts to automate processes and streamline workflows.
  • Migrate and enhance existing bespoke monitoring solutions to modern platforms.
  • Transition source code repositories from Bitbucket and manage the handover of SFTP server accounts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, using tools like Elmah for logging and monitoring.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core development.
  • Strong knowledge of MSSQL, with hands-on experience using Dapper ORM or similar.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, jQuery, Bootstrap CSS, and front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, IIS, and scheduled tasks.
  • Proficient in Powershell scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
  • Familiarity with logging tools like Elmah.
  • Experience with source control tools, particularly Bitbucket, and migration tasks.
  • Knowledge of SFTP server configurations and account management.
