Role Description

We are seeking a Central Invoicing Officer to join our dynamic Finance Department at our Lahore, Islamabad, or Karachi office. This role is designed to groom fresh graduates into capable professionals by providing structured training in invoicing, tax compliance, and coordination with FBR and provincial revenue authorities (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA). The selected candidate will work closely with experienced team members, learning processes and gradually taking responsibility for preparing invoices, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities (During Training & Progression)

Invoicing & Documentation

  • Learn and assist in preparing accurate client invoices in line with contracts and applicable tax laws.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting documents.
  • Support in monitoring outstanding invoices and follow-up on collections.

Sales Tax & Compliance

  • Gain hands-on experience in applying Sales Tax, FED, and provincial levies correctly.
  • Support in preparing and submitting tax-compliant invoices and returns to FBR & provincial authorities.
  • Assist in responding to notices, audits, or clarifications from tax authorities.

Coordination & Support

  • Act as a support point for invoicing and tax-related queries within the department.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Audit teams to ensure smooth and accurate processes.
  • Communicate professionally with clients/vendors for clarifications and follow-ups.

Reporting & Learning

  • Assist in preparing periodic reports on invoicing and receivables.
  • Stay updated on Pakistan's taxation laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Suggest improvements in processes and contribute to team efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in final semester) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • Strong interest in learning about Pakistan's taxation system and corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced environment.
