Job Title: Manager Sales – Solar Trade & EPC Projects

Location: Karachi

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reporting To: Head of Sales

Job Purpose

The Manager Sales will be responsible for driving sales in solar trade and EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects. The role involves developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, and achieving assigned sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities in solar trade and EPC projects through lead generation, networking, and market research.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets for solar solutions, including equipment sales and turnkey EPC projects.
  • Prepare and deliver technical & commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders in coordination with the design and technical teams.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Supply Chain, Projects, Finance) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements affecting the solar industry.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and industry networking events.
  • Support in marketing and promotional activities related to solar business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in solar trade and/or EPC projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of solar systems (modules, inverters, BOS, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
