Hiring for Client Jr. Node Js Developer

We're looking for a 
Backend Developer
 with deep expertise in 

, 
Koa
, 
Kafka
, and 
MongoDB
 to help scale our backend services and architect resilient, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using 

     and 
    Koa
    .
  • Implement and manage real-time data streaming pipelines using 
    Apache Kafka
    .
  • Build and optimize 
    RESTful APIs
     and 
    microservices
     for internal and external integrations.
  • Manage and optimize 
    MongoDB
     schemas and queries for high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver robust features.
  • Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization across distributed systems.
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions.
  • Implement security best practices in all backend systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

Requirements

  • 1-3 years
     of experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in 

     and frameworks such as 
    Koa
     (or Express).
  • Solid experience working with 
    Kafka
     for event-driven architecture and message streaming.
  • Proficiency in 
    MongoDB
     (data modeling, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining 
    REST APIs
     and 
    microservices architecture
    .
  • Understanding of 
    asynchronous programming
    , 
    scalability
    , and 
    system design principles
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    Docker
    , 
    Kubernetes
    , or other containerization tools is a plus.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with 
    TypeScript

  • Familiarity with 
    Redis
    , 
    PostgreSQL
    , or 
    ElasticSearch
    .
  • Experience with 
    unit/integration testing frameworks
     (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Knowledge of

  • Understanding of 
    security standards
     and 
    data protection best practices
     in fintech environments.
