We're looking for a highly motivated and proactive Associate Business Developer to join our team at Phaedra Solutions in Lahore. This is a Full-time, On-site role perfect for ambitious individuals with up to one year of professional experience in business development, sales, or client management.
You'll be crucial in expanding our client base, nurturing strong relationships, discovering new opportunities, and directly supporting our revenue goals. This role offers hands-on experience in the entire business growth lifecycle, including pipeline management, proposal development, and the application of cutting-edge AI tools.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
Market & Client Expansion (Lead Generation)
- Target Identification: Systematically research and identify potential business clients using online databases, industry insights, networking events, and social media platforms.
- Opportunity Generation: Secure qualified prospects through targeted digital campaigns (email, LinkedIn), cold outreach, industry marketplaces (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr), and active event participation.
- Database Management: Continuously update and grow the prospect database to ensure a strong lead pipeline.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Professional Communication: Initiate, manage, and maintain high-quality professional communication with prospects and clients.
- Trust Building: Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, establishing credibility and a foundation of trust.
- Sales Documentation: Prepare tailored client proposals, sales presentations, and comprehensive follow-up materials.
Sales Process & Performance Tracking
- Pipeline Oversight: Accurately track, update, and manage all client interactions and potential opportunities within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Reporting: Regularly monitor sales activity, provide detailed pipeline reports, and assist in generating sales forecasts for management.
- Documentation: Ensure meticulous and accurate recording of all business communications and opportunities.
Presentation & Negotiation Support
- Meeting Coordination: Organize, schedule, and actively participate in client discussions and presentations.
- Material Preparation: Develop meeting agendas, necessary presentation slides, and post-meeting follow-up documentation.
- Negotiation: Provide support to senior team members during client negotiations and deal finalization.
Strategic Intelligence & Analysis
- Competitive Insight: Conduct thorough competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging industry trends and shifts.
- Growth Opportunities: Analyze data to uncover potential new markets, strategic partnerships, and future business ventures.
- Strategy Input: Utilize market data analysis to contribute valuable insights to the overall sales strategy.
Documentation & Pitch Development
- Proposal Assistance: Actively assist in drafting and refining detailed business proposals, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with technical and marketing teams to create specialized and effective business pitches.
- Resource Management: Maintain and update standardized templates for sales documentation and proposals.
Technology & Process Optimization
- Automation: Utilize modern AI tools and automation platforms to streamline lead nurturing, personalize outreach, and enhance overall productivity.
- Productivity Tools: Leverage technology for sophisticated data analysis, effective reporting, and improved client engagement tracking.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the marketing department to ensure sales goals align with campaign objectives.
- Technical Liaison: Collaborate with our product and technical teams to guarantee clients receive accurate and viable solutions.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or an equivalent field. Sales or digital marketing certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Management. Relevant internship experience or strong academic project work will be considered.
Core Skills
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (mandatory English proficiency).
- Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Technology Familiarity: Knowledge of CRM systems (specifically GHL and ClickUp is preferred), AI tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation platforms.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of the sales process, the business development lifecycle, and best practices for client engagement.
- Professional Traits: Strong negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and research capabilities.
