We are hiring a React Native Mobile Developer to lead the development of our AstraID KYC app, focused on delivering a smooth, secure, and compliant KYC flow for B2C users. You will primarily build cross-platform mobile applications (Android & iOS) using React Native, with opportunities to contribute on native Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) codebases as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality React Native apps for AstraID (Android and iOS).
  • Implement document scanning (NIC, passport, driving license) and liveness verification using React Native camera and ML integrations.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and wallet connections like MetaMask and WalletConnect.
  • Ensure security best practices for data encryption, secure storage, and compliance with privacy laws.
  • Optimize app performance and user experience across devices.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, blockchain, and design teams for seamless feature rollout.
  • Support native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) modules as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with React Native Camera, ML Kit, or other OCR/AI libraries.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON handling, and secure local storage (SecureStore, AsyncStorage with encryption).
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML, fintech, or identity verification applications.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Kotlin and Android SDK for native module support.
  • Experience with Swift and iOS SDK for native module support.
  • Familiarity with Web3 integrations such as MetaMask and WalletConnect.
  • Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, MobX) and React Navigation.
  • Understanding of mobile app security and compliance standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for React Native apps.
