Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team. This pivotal role combines high-level bookkeeping, financial oversight, and bank management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of leading the accounting function with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Control & Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Prepare and review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal vouchers.
Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset schedules.

2. Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion.
Prepare management reports, including cash flow, variance, and profitability analyses.

3. Bank & Treasury Management:

Oversee daily cash flow and bank reconciliations.
Manage all banking relationships, including treasury operations, optimizing cash flow, handling account operations, and coordinating loan and credit facility documentation.
Monitor incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring alignment with cash flow forecasts.

4. Team Oversight & System Management:

Supervise junior accounting staff and support their development.
Be proficient in financial systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage Intacct.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified from ICAP.
Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a mid-to-senior level finance role.
Strong command over accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intaact, Xero, ERP).
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
