What You'll Do
This is an ideal position for a skilled and proactive
Data/Platform Engineer
who is passionate about building scalable data platforms and integrating enterprise systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure, supporting high-performance data pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Data Platform & Infrastructure Development

  • Design and implement scalable data platform solutions leveraging Snowflake and AWS.
  • Develop data ingestion pipelines to process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
  • Orchestrate workloads and deployments using Kubernetes (EKS) for high scalability and reliability.

Automation & DevOps

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub Actions.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Ensure platform observability, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.

Security, Governance & Optimization

  • Design secure infrastructure and enforce best practices for platform security and data governance.
  • Optimize data platform performance and resource utilization.
  • Support metadata management and maintain documentation of architecture and processes.

What You Know

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise with Snowflake, including infrastructure design, security model, resource management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, especially S3, IAM, EC2, EKS, and general networking/security concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as CircleCI, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub Actions (bonus).
  • Experience with Python development in data contexts.
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
  • Familiarity with orchestrating workloads in Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across infrastructure and data pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills: capable of gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset — willing to go beyond assigned tasks to improve systems and processes.
  • Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience implementing platform observability and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and platform security best practices.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
