Role Overview

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled
Data Engineer (Database Focus)
to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level database systems. The role involves working closely with development and cross-functional teams to build scalable architectures, streamline data workflows, and ensure efficient and secure data operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in database design, performance tuning, ETL pipelines, data migration, and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, architect, and maintain relational database structures, schemas, and data models.

· Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, triggers, and database functions.

· Analyze and enhance database performance, indexing strategies, and query execution plans.

· Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless database integration.

· Lead data migration, transformation, and end-to-end ETL processes.

· Ensure compliance with database security standards, access controls, and recovery procedures.

· Conduct regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance audits of database systems.

· Maintain comprehensive documentation covering database designs, scripts, and data workflows.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.

· Advanced proficiency in SQL development and performance optimization.

· Expertise in database modeling, schema design, and normalization.

· Practical experience with ETL pipelines, data migration, and data transformation processes.

· Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).

· Good understanding of data security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery mechanisms.

· Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance enterprise applications.

· Knowledge of NoSQL database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation for database deployments.

· Exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence tools, and reporting solutions.
