Role Overview

This role combines automotive journalism and content presentation. The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, passionate about vehicles, and capable of creating informative and engaging video content across various formats. From car and bike reviews to industry coverage and interviews, you will help build trust and engagement with our growing audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host and present car/bike reviews, tutorials, walkarounds, and automotive product explainers.
  • Represent in video podcasts, interviews, dealership and workshop tours.
  • Work with the media and marketing teams to script, plan, and produce impactful content.
  • Cover automotive launches, inspection teams, events, and service walk-throughs.
  • Produce video content suitable for digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Research automotive trends, technologies, and services to inform content direction.
  • Lead product and service awareness through on-camera storytelling.

Your Role as an Automotive Journalist

  • Car Reviews:
    Test and review new or used vehicles, evaluating performance, comfort, safety, and value.
  • Industry News:
    Report on automotive trends, brand announcements, EV developments, and policy changes.
  • Feature Stories & Comparisons:
    Produce model comparisons and explainers that guide buyers and enthusiasts.
  • Auto Event Coverage:
    Attend and report from automotive events and brand launches.
  • Expert Interviews:
    Conduct interviews with industry professionals, including dealers, mechanics, and executives.
  • Multimedia Content Creation:
    Deliver quality content across video, voice, and social channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in video presenting, hosting, or digital content creation.
  • Strong on-screen presence and confidence in both Urdu and English.
  • knowledge & interest in cars, bikes, parts, and the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools: DSLRs, mobile rigs, mics, lighting, etc.
  • Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, InShot, or Canva.
  • A degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with automotive content or platforms (YouTube channels, events, magazines).
  • Exposure to podcast hosting or video-based interviews.
  • Understanding of social media trends and performance algorithms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
