We are a newly established, fast-growing SEO agency helping clients build sustainable organic growth through smart strategies and data-driven insights. We're looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist who can take ownership of SEO projects, lead execution from strategy to results, and supervise a small team of junior SEOs.

Role overview

You will be the primary owner of SEO across a portfolio of client businesses. This is a hands-on role where you'll develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies, deliver measurable results, create repeatable processes, and supervise
two Junior SEO Specialists
(we will provide two junior team members for you to guide and train). You'll also design onboarding/SOPs, review outputs, and set the quality bar for SEO delivery. Strong remote communication and the ability to work U.S. business hours (EST or PST) are required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies (technical, on-page, and off-page).
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits.
• Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and meta-data for maximum visibility.
• Lead link-building campaigns and outreach activities.
• Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics — ensuring continuous growth in organic rankings and traffic.
• Supervise and guide two Junior SEO Specialists, reviewing their tasks and progress; create onboarding docs, SOPs, and training plans.
• Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with Google algorithm updates, SEO tools, and emerging trends.
• Perform regular technical audits and prioritize fixes (crawlability, redirects, canonicalization, schema, page speed).
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards (rankings, organic traffic, conversions, revenue impact) and present results to stakeholders.
• Be the primary client-facing SEO expert — communicate strategy and technical issues in plain language.

Requirements

• 5+ years
  proven SEO experience with measurable results (ranking improvements, organic growth, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
  (Must have access to your own SEO tools.)
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, link building, and content optimization.
• Ability to create SEO strategies and manage execution independently across multiple clients.
• Proven track record of ranking websites on Google (please provide examples or portfolio).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage remote teams.
• Availability during U.S. business hours (EST or PST).
• Comfortable working with common CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and coordinating with developers.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in an agency environment or managing multiple client accounts.
• Understanding of local SEO, citations, and schema markup.
• Experience with SEO project management, automation of reporting, and dashboarding.
• Familiarity with CRO/UX principles and AI-assisted SEO/content tools (used responsibly).
