Responsibilities

  • Perform QA/QC inspection of incoming material and maintain records.
  • Inspect and verify electrical, mechanical, and mechatronics jobs for FTI/VEY operations and project executions.
  • Conduct PO acceptance for customer POs and PO verification for FTI POs.
  • Visit fabrication workshops for inspection of mechanical/electrical jobs; ensure record keeping.
  • Visit client sites for inspection of jobs.
  • Perform material verification and dimensional checks at port/vendor sites with documentation.
  • Ensure all design and execution follows relevant international codes and standards.
  • Prepare and implement QIP (Quality Inspection Plans) and ITP (Inspection Test Plans) for project jobs.
  • Supervise DT/NDT, IP/current/continuity/megger tests as required.
  • Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and commissioning activities for projects.
  • Monitor plant operational parameters, condition of accessories, and safety compliance at client sites; prepare reports.
  • Assist in other QA/QC inspection and monitoring tasks as required.

Other Relevant Tasks / Authorities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) within the organization.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of safety policies across operations.
  • Support data feeding/reporting for FTI plant operational parameters and production volumes.
  • Promote continuous improvement in QC processes and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: BE in Mechatronics
  • Certifications (Preferred): Relevant ISO certifications.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in fertilizer, water treatment, or energy sector (QA/QC or inspection role).
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Electrical systems: continuity, insulation resistance, current rating, IP rating tests.
  • Mechanical systems: stress analysis, hydrotest, NDT.
  • Material verification, dimensional inspection, and use of measuring instruments.
  • QIP/ITP preparation, QMS understanding, compliance reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and team collaboration.
