Job Description:

Cybologics Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team. This role involves developing intelligent data-driven solutions, with hands-on experience in OCR technologies, cloud computing, and AI/ML pipelines. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment alongside our product and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and OCR-based solutions using Python and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Utilize tools like Google Colab and Jupyter Notebooks for experimentation, model training, and documentation.
  • Lead the integration of OCR models (Tesseract, AWS Textract, Google Vision, etc.) for document parsing and data extraction.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based environments (especially on AWS & GCP) for scalable ML workflows.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to configure and maintain production environments for model deployment.
  • Work closely with product teams via JIRA to plan, track, and deliver features and model improvements.
  • Perform data wrangling, cleaning, analysis, and visualization to support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate model performance and retrain using feedback data where needed.
  • Ensure reproducibility and versioning of experiments, models, and datasets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Textract, SageMaker).
  • Strong understanding of GCP services (especially Google Vision AI, BigQuery, and Google Colab).
  • Solid knowledge of OCR tools (AWS Textract, Tesseract OCR, Google OCR, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Git, and collaborative development tools.
  • Ability to set up and manage cloud environments and development pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for containerizing ML models.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and handling sensitive data.
