About the Role

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance manager in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
  • Liaise with auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders as required
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience (Minimum 2 years) in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel in particular)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
