Job Summary

A UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and effective digital experiences. They work closely with product teams, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, create wireframes and prototypes, conduct usability testing, and deliver polished designs for web and mobile interfaces. Their goal is to ensure the user's journey is seamless, efficient, and delightful while meeting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research: interviews, surveys, usability tests, competitor analysis to understand user needs, pain points and behaviors. Intellipaat+2Kalibrr+2
  • Create user personas, user journey maps, and information architectures to model the overall user flow.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes (low‑fidelity & high‑fidelity) to explore and validate design ideas. Art of
  • Develop UI elements: menus, widgets, navigation, forms, buttons, etc. Ensure design consistency with typography, color schemes, layout, branding.
  • Ensure designs are responsive and optimized across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Conduct usability testing; gather feedback, analyze data, iterate on designs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: product managers, developers, QA, marketing, and stakeholders to implement and refine designs. Art of Living+2Kalibrr+2
  • Maintain and evolve the design system or style guide to preserve consistency across product lines. of Living+2
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, best practices, accessibility guidelines. Art of Living+1

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. Kalibrr+2Art of Living+2
  • Experience: Typically 2‑5 years (for mid level) working as a UI/UX Designer or in a related role. For senior roles, more years + leadership/mentoring experience.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showing real‑world design work (web and mobile), prototypes, wireframes, user flows. of Living+2
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with design & prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Illustrator/Photoshop etc. Kalibrr+2Art of Living+2
  • User‑Centered Design: Understanding of user‑centered design principles, interaction design, information architecture, usability heuristics.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present design ideas, explain rationale, listen to feedback, collaborate well with others. of Living+2
