Job Purpose

As Finance Manager in Partner Markets, will lead and coordinate entity liquidations in Partner Markets. Will possess expertise in managing complex liquidation processes, including engagement with Big 4 advisors, Tax Authorities, Corporate Regulators, and other stakeholders. This role demands a strong leader to take end-to-end ownership of liquidation coordination across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring seamless execution, compliance, and value preservation.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Qualified accountant  - CA, ACCA or CIMA

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualified experience. Proven track record in cross functional finance operations, experience coordinating with Big 4 advisors, Tax Authorities, Corporate Regulators, and external liquidators.

  • Strong understanding of tax, legal, and compliance frameworks in multinational environments.

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to use RACI matrices, decision logs, and trackers effectively.

  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive collaboration across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Coordination

  • Act as the single accountable owner for entity liquidation processes across Partner Markets.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration between Tax, Legal, Compliance, Finance, external liquidators, audit counsel, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain clear governance structures, including RACI matrices, decision logs, and central trackers to monitor progress and accountability.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the relationship with the Trustee in Nigeria, conducting weekly meetings to oversee progress, resolve roadblocks, and align on key milestones.

  • Engage effectively with external advisors, such as Big 4 firms, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of outputs.

  • Coordinate directly with Tax Authorities and Corporate Regulators to ensure compliance and smooth execution of liquidation processes.
