Water Bottle Design & Market Research Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and analytical Water Bottle Design & Market Research Specialist to lead the development of new water bottle designs based on customer needs, market trends, and production capabilities. The ideal candidate will blend design expertise with market insight to create practical, aesthetic, and cost-effective bottle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging design trends, customer preferences, and competitor products in the bottled water industry.
  • Analyze consumer insights and recommend bottle shapes, materials, and labeling concepts that align with brand positioning.
  • Work closely with production and packaging teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
  • Develop 3D models and renderings of proposed bottle concepts using relevant software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Blender).
  • Test and refine designs based on ergonomics, durability, and shelf appeal.
  • Prepare design mock-ups and presentation materials for management approval.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and mold manufacturers to finalize bottle prototypes.
  • Maintain an updated design trend database for ongoing innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Packaging Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in plastic bottle design, preferably in beverage or bottled water sectors.
  • Strong skills in 3D design software (SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
  • Familiarity with PET, HDPE, and other bottle materials.
  • Understanding of market research tools and consumer insights.
  • Excellent aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and creativity.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between marketing, production, and branding teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sustainable packaging or eco-friendly materials.
  • Knowledge of local and export packaging regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
