Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Short-Form Video Editor
to join our content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital media trends and experience editing engaging, high-quality short-form videos for platforms such as
TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts,
and other social channels. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into compelling, shareable content that aligns with our brand voice and drives audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    
Content Editing & Production:

  • Edit raw video footage into engaging short-form content optimized for social media platforms.
  • Add captions, text overlays, graphics, transitions, and sound effects to enhance viewer experience.
  • Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips for various channels.

2.   
Creative Storytelling:

  • Develop strong narratives that capture attention within the first few seconds.
  • Maintain consistency with brand identity, tone, and messaging.
  • Stay current with viral trends, memes, sounds, and editing styles to keep content fresh and relevant.

3.   
Collaboration & Workflow:

  • Work closely with the marketing, social media, and creative teams to align video output with campaign goals.
  • Provide input on creative direction, shot lists, and content planning.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

4.   
Optimization & Performance:

  • Ensure all videos are formatted and optimized for specific platforms (aspect ratios, lengths, captions).
  • Track content performance and suggest creative improvements based on analytics and feedback.
  • Continuously refine editing style to maximize engagement and retention.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of short-form content.
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound design is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
