About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in the banking sector, with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-level technology solutions. This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to align IT strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide technology solutions for banking applications, platforms, and services.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and secure architecture.
  • Ensure architecture compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards in the banking domain.
  • Provide technical leadership in solution design, integration, and system upgrades across multiple banking systems.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, design principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring best practices in software design, scalability, and performance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and vendors to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery strategies are embedded in solution designs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in technology and solution architecture within the banking sector.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise architecture for core banking systems, digital banking, and payment solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with .NET technologies
    for enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with middleware, databases, core banking platforms, and security frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure preferred).
