Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced DME Agents to join our growing healthcare support team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing, verification, and order processing. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, verifying insurance eligibility, managing documentation, and ensuring accurate processing of patient orders in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to DME orders and insurance verification.
  • Review and process patient documentation for compliance and completeness.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
  • Coordinate with physicians, patients, and insurance companies to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records in the system and follow up on pending authorisations or claims.
  • Meet performance targets, including call quality, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Ensure all work complies with HIPAA and company privacy policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a DME.
  • Strong understanding of DME products, insurance verification, and billing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.
  • Familiarity with HCPCS codes and DME documentation standards.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements.
