Job Summary

We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience with big data platform, parallel processing and distributed storage.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, build, and manage data pipelines using ETL tools (Informatica, IBM DataStage, Talend, SSIS) and Apache Spark.


• Implement and maintain storage strategies using distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, object stores).


• Write and optimize SQL and Python scripts across diverse data sources.


• Develop data controls, validation processes, and transformation logic using ETL/ELT frameworks.


• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including source mappings and key documentation.


• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance issues, ensuring high reliability and scalability.


• Define and maintain data standards and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.


• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.


• Strong SQL with experience in relational databases and data warehousing.


• Proficient in Apache Spark and big data tools (Hive, Impala, HBase, Sqoop)


• Strong communication skills and ability to take ownership of deliverables.


• Fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
