Chief Petroleum Engineer (Production Technology Employee Status: Regular: Indefinite Job Type: Permanent Job Level: Manager / Team Leader Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Location: Pakistan-Islamabad

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Production Technology aspect of the subsurface teams and assist in field development studies, development plan revisions, and ensure optimal exploitation of hydrocarbons. Drive production optimization from reservoir to separator with consideration to choking in reservoir, well, flowlines, and plant inlet.

  • Extend support in the evaluation, planning, and execution of Production Enhancement projects to improve production efficiency from the existing well stock. Contribute to the implementation of new technologies for Production Optimization, Completion design, testing strategy, artificial lifts, fracs, and improving operational efficiency.

  • Lead planning and scheduling for implementation of data acquisition plans followed by analysis and interpretation. Develop Integrated Asset Modelling (IAM) using real-time surveillance and optimization techniques, production system debottlenecking, well delivery optimization, and production system simulations.

  • Contribute to well intervention, well completion, and well testing operations when required. Work closely with service providers to meet well intervention, completion, and testing objectives.

Qualification:

  • B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering

  • Expertise in industry-standard petroleum engineering software.

  • Advantageous: IWCF Well Control Level 4 certified.

Professional competencies:

  • Proficient in OFM, KAPPA, PETEX suite, WELLCAT, Stim/Fracpro, Reslove

  • Strong understanding of field development lifecycle and integration of subsurface disciplines.

  • Sound knowledge of drilling, reservoir, production operations, and surface facilities.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.

  • Decision-making under pressure.

    Experience:

  • At least 12+ years in the oil and gas industry, with relevant experience in production technology and field operations
