We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Career Counselor to join our team at Aptech Metro Star Gate. The ideal candidate will guide students and clients through career planning, education options, and job placement assistance, helping them make informed decisions about their professional future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual career counseling sessions for students and job seekers.
  • Evaluate each person's skills, interests, and career objectives to suggest appropriate courses and career options.
  • Offer comprehensive information about Aptech's training programs and related industry opportunities.
  • Keep detailed records of counseling sessions and follow-up interactions.
  • Work closely with the admissions team to assist with the enrollment process.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends and job market conditions to provide up-to-date guidance.
  • Plan and lead career workshops and seminars when required.

Requirements:

  • ACCP + Bachelors degree required
  • Previous experience in career counselling, education guidance, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and motivate them effectively.
  • Knowledge of current job market trends and employment sectors.
  • Empathetic, patient, and solution-oriented mindset.
