Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Korean Language, Korean Literature, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred for university or higher-level institutions.
  • Teaching certificate (e.g., Korean Language Teacher Level 2 or 3 Certificate) from the National Institute of the Korean Language.

Teaching Experience

  • Prior experience teaching Korean as a foreign/second language is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
  • Experience using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS platforms like Moodle, etc.) is a plus for remote instruction.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Korean grammar, pronunciation, culture, and linguistic structure.
  • Ability to develop lesson plans tailored to student needs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
