About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytical infrastructures for our fintech products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data integration, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and scalability of our financial data systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions (MySQL, Azure) converting OLTP data from ERP systems into OLAP models.
  • Build and maintain ELT pipelines with CDC (Change Data Capture) and SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions) for data transformation and versioning.
  • Apply Kimball data modeling techniques to structure analytical data for business reporting.
  • Manage and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and automation.
  • Integrate multiple data sources (SQL, NoSQL, APIs, JSON) to create unified data layers for analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to support data-driven initiatives and ensure consistency across dashboards and reports.
  • Maintain ERP data history and transactional logs using MongoDB and complex JSON processing.
  • Work on innovative data engineering projects such as global search, e-invoicing, and OCR-based automation.
  • Develop AI-driven data processing modules, including voice-to-data mapping and GPT-based automation for ERP components.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with internal and external governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in fintech or ERP environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT design, data modeling (Kimball), and pipeline orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of Python, APIs, and data transformation frameworks.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and handling JSON/unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Apache Superset) for testing and validation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, metadata management, and data governance.
