About the Role

Abid Brothers & Contractors is seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to oversee and ensure the highest standards of construction quality across our ongoing civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists for materials and workmanship.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, and documentation of materials (concrete, steel, soil, etc.).
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to address quality-related issues.
  • Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and maintain proper records for all quality control activities.
  • Verify compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to project quality management.

Qualifications

  • Education: DAE (Civil) or BSc (Civil Engineering)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and QA/QC standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with relevant civil engineering software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
