Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an iOS Engineer based in Lahore District. The iOS Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS devices. The role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as identifying and resolving any issues in the applications. The engineer will also be involved in code reviews, ensuring the quality of the codebase, and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in iOS application development.
  • Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Strong understanding of MVC, MVVM, and MVP design patterns.
  • Expertise in memory management and multi-threading.
  • Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, MapKit, PassKit, ARKit, CoreML, Combine, etc.
  • 3-4 Experience with dependency managers like Swift Package Manager and CocoaPods.
  • Proven experience in publishing Pods on CocoaPods.
  • Strong knowledge of the App Store submission process.
  • Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs in iOS applications.
  • Knowledge of the Codable protocol and Protocol Oriented Programming.
  • Understanding of Apple's UI guidelines.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control.
  • Experience with React Native is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
