Role Summary: The Senior ML Engineer (Knowledge Graph/RAG Focus) will play a critical role in enhancing Hyly.AI's AI capabilities by developing and optimizing Knowledge Graphs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in prompt engineering, object-oriented programming, and RAG pipeline development, while demonstrating the ability to deliver quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for AI-powered applications.
  2. Work with Knowledge Graphs to enable efficient and accurate data representation and retrieval.
  3. Utilize prompt engineering to extract and structure data effectively.
  4. Perform web scraping for data acquisition using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
  5. Debug, test, and refine algorithms to enhance performance and reliability.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  7. Document workflows, processes, and key learnings for team-wide knowledge sharing.
  8. Use AI for their daily tasks
Must-Have Qualifications:
  1. Minimum GPA of 3.2.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitate field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  3. Proficiency in Python with strong object-oriented programming skills.
  4. Experience with web scraping tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
  5. 2+ years of experience with frontier LLMs like OpenAI or LLaMa.
  6. Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications:
  1. Remote Team Management Experience: Experience managing teams in a remote environment, ensuring effective communication and productivity.
  2. Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and ensuring smooth coordination.
  3. Strong collaborative development skills using Git and version control systems.
