Middle Automation QA Engineer
to join our team full-time in Pakistan.

About the role:

As a Middle Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform both manual and automated testing of web applications, including functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Develop and maintain automation tests for web applications using Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and create comprehensive manual and automated test plans.
• Execute test plans, identify, and document defects with clear and concise reports.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and promoting quality best practices across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in both manual and automated testing.

Requirements:

• Solid proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, bug tracking, and test case management.
• Good understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and API interactions.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desirable:

• Experience with both Cypress and Playwright.
