Job Summary

UBL Currency Exchange is looking for a
Cashier
with a minimum of
4 years of relevant experience
to join our Karachi branch. The ideal candidate should be, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling cash transactions in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day cash transactions for currency exchange and remittance services.
  • Ensure accuracy in currency counting, exchange rate application, and transaction recording.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift with complete documentation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Follow all AML/KYC compliance protocols and report suspicious activities when necessary.
  • Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings.


Requirements

  • Minimum education: Intermediate (FA/FSc); Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience
    as a cashier in a financial institution, exchange company, or related field.
  • Solid knowledge of foreign currency, exchange rates, and transaction handling.
  • Strong attention to detail, mathematical accuracy, and record-keeping skills.
  • Familiarity with SBP regulations and AML/KYC procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-cash environment.
