Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier for Cafe Little Karachi, with hands-on experience in Devaj POS software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cash transactions, ensuring billing accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service at the front counter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer billing and payments through Devaj software (cash, credit/debit cards, online transfers, and vouchers).
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and process discounts as per restaurant policy.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawers, reconcile daily sales, and prepare end-of-shift reports.
  • Ensure smooth order processing and coordinate with wait staff and kitchen teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer basic customer queries, and resolve billing issues politely.
  • Keep records of transactions and ensure compliance with accounting and restaurant policies.
  • Assist in daily reporting to management and highlight any discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Cashier (preferably in a restaurant or retail environment).
  • Must have practical knowledge and experience with Devaj POS software.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum education: Intermediate.
