Role Description

Production Management

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet demand and efficiency targets.

  • Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

  • Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, downtime, waste, yield, output) and implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

  • Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with local and international standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, etc.).

  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and product testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.

  • Train and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and safety protocols across teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Team Management and Development

  • Lead and supervise production & QA teams, ensuring proper delegation and accountability.

  • Conduct training sessions for staff on production efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of production output, wastages, and quality checks.

  • Prepare and present monthly production and quality performance reports.

  • Document non-conformities and corrective/preventive action plans (CAPA).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

  • 7–10 years of experience in FMCG production/quality roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

  • Hands-on experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and other quality certifications.

  • Knowledge of process automation and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
