Yaqeen Enterprise, a growing fish meal manufacturing and processing company, is hiring an Accounts Officer for its Karachi facility. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, disciplined, and strong in daily accounting and documentation tasks.

(Note: The factory environment includes a fish smell; candidates must be comfortable with this.)

Position: Accounts Officer Location: Ibrahim Hyderi Industrial Area Karachi Gender: Male Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily accounting records, vouchers, and financial entries.
  • Handle accounts receivable/payable, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, ledgers, and expense summaries.
  • Assist in inventory reconciliation and costing for production batches.
  • Maintain supplier and customer ledgers and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Verify purchase bills, GRNs, stock usage, and production-related expenses.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for billing, approvals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company SOPs.
  • Assist in audit preparations and provide required reports.

Requirements:

  • B.Com / BBA / M.Com / ACCA (Part Qualified) preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong command of MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Tally preferred).
  • Good understanding of inventory, costing, and factory accounting.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Disciplined, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fish meal factory environment (with smell).
