About Us

More Than Accountants Pvt Ltd is a UK-based accounting firm operating in Pakistan, providing end-to-end financial, accounting, and IT support services. We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Administrator to manage and enhance our systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and maintain servers, desktops/laptops, and networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Install, update, and maintain system software, ensuring all hardware and networks operate efficiently.
  • Manage and monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot system, hardware, and network issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement security protocols including patch management, firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Document network layouts, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with vendors for IT equipment procurement, licensing, and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in system or network administration.
  • Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting servers, networks, and system software.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching, and LAN/WAN.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and system monitoring tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
